Today, I discovered another new activity in Christchurch. Adrenalin Forest. This is situated in Brooklands, about a 25 minute drive out of Christchurch in a massive Forest Park. I did know of it’s existence, but didn’t ever have the excuse to go, until it was suggested as an activity on the Meet up group I belong to.
We were there for a good 4-5 hours, and it only cost about $35. There were about 15 of us all, and it was great to meet some new people. I meet a couple from Northern Ireland, who had not long moved to Christchurch. One of them was from Ballymoney, which is 20 minutes from my home town. Small world.
So I have been on something similar at home called Go Ape, but Adrenalin Forest is 10x better. There are higher courses and you spend a greater time there. There are 6 levels I believe which range from 5 metres to 25 metres. Once you do level one, you can skip to any level you want. We did levels 1,2,4 and 6. There were a lot of flying foxes, climbing through metal tunnels, and bridges. A great sporting activity.
I am totally paying for it now though – sore arms and legs. Work out for the week done!
