Luxembourg is a humble little country, nestled in between three countries – it has influences from Belgium, Germany and France, but the hospitality is truely Luxembourgish, which is what I recieved when I stayed at the Park Inn by Radisson in Luxembourg City.
As a city, it is one of the smallest I have visited recently, but I found that there was so much to do.
One thing I look for when I travel, is accommodation which is centrally located – it saves you on travel fares, and you’re right in the heart of the action. So I was pleased to see how central the Park Inn by Radisson in Luxembourg City was.
Hotel Location

If you’re coming from the airport, a short bus ride will take you into the central station (which is stunning by the way), then a 5 minute walk, slightly uphill will take you to the hotel, which is positioned above a row of shops, and accessed via a lift (elevator).
There is a car park for the hotel (extra charge), if you happen to be driving in Luxembourg.
On my arrival, I was greeted by a friendly front of house team, who checked me in quickly, and made me aware of all that was available in the hotel. I was informed that breakfast was from 7.30am to 10am, and that there was free high speed WiFi through the building (and it was fast, as I was able to make video calls without any issues)
I was given a room on the top floor, and after a slightly delayed flight and journey to the city, I was pleased to be making my way into a bed.
Hotel room and facilities

I was staying on the 8th floor of the building, and had a lovely view over the city in the morning, which looked beauiful in the snow.
The rooms at the Park Inn by Radisson, have recently undergone some renovations, and are now uniquely styled. I was surprised at the size of the room, and the bed, and I loved lounging on it in the lovely white robe!

The room had plenty of great features including a hairdryer (essential for female travellers!), a great range of toiletries, plenty of warm fluffy towels, a TV (which I didn’t watch), a electronic safe for all your valuables, tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of space to hang your clothes.

Although the hotel is in the middle of the city centre, it was quiet, and I got an amazing sleep on both nights.
Hotel facilities
The Park Inn by Radisson caters for a range of travellers – from those here for weekends, to business travellers, and has a great range of facilties in house for you to enjoy including:
- A well equipped fitness centre

- A cocktail bar and dining area
- A conference room for business meetings
Breakfast (because food is important to me)
I won’t lie – the quickest way to my heart is through the provision of food, and I love a hotel, which has breakfast included in the price, so was exicted to see what options there was in morning.
If you’re heading out for a whole day of exploring, then you should fuel up on the many options in the morning. Breakfast items included both cooked and continental foods, fresh bread and pastries, a selection of tea, coffee and juices, cereals yoghurts and fruits. I was spoilt for choice!
